Medical 3D printing applications continue to expand, making the need for accurate, rapid image segmentation and 3D modeling an important component of a hospital-based workflow. This series aims to highlight original research and comprehensive review articles that focus on image segmentation, 3D modeling and quality control of anatomic models and associated devices.
