The progress of low protein diet in poultry

Edited by: Prof. Jianmin Yuan

In the past few years, interest in poultry low protein diet has grew. Low protein diet is based on amino acids balance, amino acids synchronization and glucose metabolism. The processes of synchronization of amino acids and glucose are not fully understood, nevertheless the special issue will focus on amino acids balance, ileal endogenous amino acids flow, synchronization of amino acid and glucose metabolism.

The special issue will provide a critical review on the progress of low protein diet in poultry, to supply the ideal amino acids pattern model, and the assay method of ileal endogenous amino acids flow, highlighting the synchronization of amino acids and glucose.
